PANTON ÄRA

The Panton era popularly describes a design epoch, beginning with the 1960s until the 1970s. It was the high season of the designs of Danish architect Verner Panton. Verner Panton designed a range of interior design items, for example for the Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen. Verner Panton designed holistic furnishing concepts such as the Spiegel Editorial Office in Hamburg. The so called "Spiegel Canteen" is a listed building and also moved, after the extract of the editorship, into the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg. A quick overview of Verner Panton's works provides our *Pantongraphy, an excerpt from the work Verner Pantons.
